Mendocino's Zinfandels are known for their rich, dark color scheme, medium to high tannin levels and a higher alcohol content. The Zinfandel feature flavors include: raspberry, blackberry, cherry, plums, raisins, spice and blackpepper all wrapped around various intensities of oak.

CORO MENDOCINO

Every Coro wine is a signature blend, individually crafted in Mendocino County from 100 percent Mendocino County grapes. Each Coro wine must lead with 40-70 percent Zinfandel and may be blended with up to nine named varietals, honoring the "Old Italian" field blends of Mendocino.

Cesar Toxqui Cellars

Their Zinfandel was aged for twenty-four months in neutral French oak barrels. Winemaker Cesar opted to blend fifteen percent petite sirah to highligh the dark blackberry flavors that are prominent in good Zinfandels. 168 cases produced.
