Hendy Woods is a delightful place to camp, hike, and relax!

The park’s 945 acres include 80 acres of ancient redwood groves, a large sunny meadow with picnic tables and BBQ pits, easy access to the Navarro River, 92 campsites, 4 cabins, and miles of trails.

The Hendy Woods Community is dedicated to ensuring that Hendy Woods State Park remains open to the public, and its resources are protected for future generations and for the well-being of the Navarro River watershed and its native plants and animals.

Hendy Woods Community

The Community stepped up to keep Hendy Woods open when the state said it would close.  Now we lead interpretive walks, staff the visitor center, and provide funds for programs and improvements.  We need your support!
